
TYSONS CORNER, Va.—Las Vegas, San Diego, and Denver remain key players in North America’s meetings industry, according to Cvent’s 2026 rankings of top meeting destinations, hotels, and venues.
Based on more than $20 billion in global request-for-proposal activity through Cvent’s sourcing platforms, the annual report reflects continued growth of in-person business events and strong demand for destinations that can deliver large-scale meetings with measurable return.
Las Vegas ranks No. 2, just behind Orlando, Fla., as the nation’s top meeting destination. San Diego is ranked No. 7, making it the only California city in the Top 10.
Las Vegas also stood out in the hotel rankings, with The Venetian Resort Las Vegas ranking No. 3, Fontainebleau Las Vegas at No. 5, and Wynn and Encore Las Vegas at No. 7.
The Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colo., ranked No. 2, while Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Arizona ranked No. 6, highlighting continued strength in the Southwest luxury meetings market.
In the venue rankings, Las Vegas led the Southwest’s representation, with AREA15 and The Industrial Event Space earning top spots. STK Denver ranks at No. 9.
The report also points to growing demand for live events, with planners citing in-person meetings among the highest ROI marketing strategies.
Cvent’s rankings are based on sourcing activity across its global platform and reflect how organizations increasingly prioritize face-to-face engagement despite digital-first business environments.
