TUCSON, Ariz.—Visit Tucson, the destination marketing organization for Tucson and Pima County, has expanded its team as part of its efforts to position the region as a destination for leisure travel, sports events, and film production.

The new staff additions are: executive vice president Heather Molina, sports managers Chance Lamey and Kelson Coleman, and Film Tucson production coordinator Jaclyn “Jaye” Ferrone.

Molina joined Visit Tucson in June after more than 17 years in agency work, including four years working closely with destination marketing organizations. Most recently, she served as vice president of strategic insights and marketing analytics at Madden Media.

Lamey joins the organization with a sales background and local experience in sports tournaments, as both a participant and coach. Coleman has more than nine years of sales and hospitality experience, most recently serving as sales manager at El Conquistador Tucson.

As sports managers, Lamey and Coleman will provide logistical support for Tucson sporting events and work to attract tournaments, competitions, and other events intended to generate economic impact for the city.

Ferrone previously held administrative roles at the University of Arizona and has customer-facing hospitality experience. In her new role, she will support Film Tucson’s administrative operations, onboard new film leads, help facilitate permitting, and serve as a liaison with city and county departments.

“We’re excited to welcome these talented professionals to our team,” says Felipe Garcia, president & CEO of Visit Tucson. “Each of them brings valuable expertise, fresh perspectives, and a genuine passion for serving our community and our partners. Their diverse backgrounds will help advance our mission to promote Tucson as a premier destination for tourism, sports, and film.”
