SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.—ADERO Scottsdale Resort has introduced a collection of wellness experiences designed to give meeting planners new ways to incorporate wellness, teambuilding, and the Sonoran Desert into group itineraries.
The programming goes beyond traditional wellness activities, offering options ranging from 20-minute movement breaks and educational workshops to outdoor adventures and nighttime experiences. The resort is set on 17 acres in a certified International Dark Sky Community outside Scottsdale.
Among the new offerings is Sunset to Stars, which combines a naturalist-led sunset hike on the resort’s ADERO Scottsdale Trail with stargazing, astronomy storytelling, and cosmic cocktails under dark skies.
The Circadian Reset Workshop explores the body’s internal 24-hour clock and its relationship to sleep, mood, and energy. The Desert Soundscape Walk takes a slower approach to the outdoors, inviting participants to practice deep listening to the natural sounds of the Sonoran Desert.
Groups also can participate in an Aroma Blending Experience, where attendees create personalized aromatherapy oils using essential oils and botanicals, such as lavender, citrus, jasmine, geranium, eucalyptus, and sandalwood.
For groups interested in photography, the Astrophotography Workshop teaches participants how to use smartphones to capture the night sky and celestial objects. Stretch & Stars offers a 20-minute outdoor reset combining gentle yoga and Pilates movements focused on flexibility, mobility, and balance.
ADERO Scottsdale Resort has 177 rooms and is the only Autograph Collection hotel in a certified International Dark Sky Community. The resort’s setting offers opportunities for guided stargazing tours, sound-journey meditations, hiking, and mountain biking.
The resort also features CIELO, its signature restaurant, and REVIVE Marketplace, which offers fresh, on-the-go options. Meeting amenities include flexible indoor and outdoor event space, a wellness studio, The Spa at ADERO, an onsite trailhead, two heated pools, lighted tennis and pickleball courts, and access to the nearby Sunridge Canyon Golf Club.
