SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.—ADERO Scottsdale Resort, Autograph Collection has appointed luxury hospitality veteran Marlon Hirsh as general manager of the 177-room resort, bringing more than 30 years of international hospitality leadership to the property as it undergoes a major transformation scheduled for completion later this year.
Hirsh will oversee all aspects of operations at the Scottsdale resort, including guest accommodations, F&B, spa and fitness, and meetings and events programming. He also will lead the property’s ongoing renovation project, which is expected to be completed in December 2026.
The reimagination will include new dining concepts, expanded wellness offerings, enhanced gathering spaces, and other improvements designed to further connect guests with the surrounding Adero Canyon and Sonoran Desert landscape.
Hirsh joins ADERO after serving as general manager of The Island House and Old Fort Bay Club in Nassau, Bahamas. His career includes leadership roles with The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Nobu Hotels, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, and Melco Resorts & Entertainment.
Hirsh’s experience also includes overseeing the pre-opening of City of Dreams Mediterranean in Cyprus, Europe’s first integrated resort and casino, as well as Nobu Hotel Manila, the brand’s first property in Asia. Throughout his career, Hirsh has focused on developing service-oriented teams and elevating guest experiences through Forbes Five-Star standards.
“Marlon’s appointment reflects our continued investment in ADERO’s evolution as one of Arizona’s premier resort destinations,” says Chris Sariego, COO of LionGrove, the resort’s ownership group. “As we advance our long-term vision for the resort, his global perspective, specialized expertise in luxury hospitality, and demonstrated ability to empower teams make him well-suited to lead ADERO into the future.”
Hirsh adds, “ADERO occupies a truly special place in the Scottsdale market, combining exceptional hospitality with an unparalleled sense of place unlike anywhere else in the Sonoran Desert. I am honored to join the team during an exciting period of growth and transformation, and look forward to building upon the resort’s reputation of thoughtful service, wellness, and destination-driven experiences.”
