Southwest Airlines has introduced a new platform, Southwest Groups, designed to simplify booking and managing group travel. The tool targets travel decision-makers and provides self-service features, including shopping, booking, making deposits, managing reservations, and accessing reporting dashboards.

Developed in partnership with Infiniti Software Solutions and Slalom, the system aims to cut down administrative tasks for group travel coordinators. “Enhanced workflows empower travel managers to easily book and manage group travel, quickly access duty of care reporting, and minimize time spent focusing on administrative tasks,” said Aileen Furlong, vice president of sales at Southwest Airlines.

Southwest Groups is part of the airline’s broader business-to-business (B2B) offering within its Southwest Business Assist portal, including Southwest Meetings, a tool for managing meeting-related travel agreements.
