AC Hotel Pasadena opens in Playhouse Village

PASADENA, Calif.—AC Hotel Pasadena has officially opened in the city’s Playhouse Village, adding 194 new guest rooms. The hotel is located at the corner of Colorado Boulevard and Madison Avenue, directly along the Rose Parade route.

The property is part of the AC Hotels by Marriott brand and emphasizes modern design influenced by European aesthetics. Interior features include minimalist furnishings, natural wood finishes, fireplaces, water features, and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Guests can start their day at the AC Kitchen, which serves a European-style breakfast, including cheeses, cured meats, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. In the evening, visitors can access the AC Lounge for small plates and cocktails or head to the rooftop venue, which offers mountain views and full meal service.

The hotel is within walking distance of several Pasadena landmarks, including the Pasadena Playhouse, The Children’s Museum, and The Ice House Comedy Club. It is also located less than half a mile from Pasadena Convention Center, making it accessible for business travelers.
