Las Vegas remains one of the world’s most compelling destinations for meetings and events, driven by a hospitality culture that’s woven into the city’s DNA. It is consistently ranked No. 2 (just behind Orlando, Fla.) on Cvent’s annual rankings of top U.S. meeting and convention destinations. For planners, Las Vegas’ appeal is both timeless and ever-evolving: a destination that consistently reinvents itself while delivering the scale, service, and expertise required to execute events flawlessly. From headline entertainment and celebrity-driven dining to luxury spas and immersive experiences, Las Vegas offers a range of amenities that keep attendees engaged and eager to return. At the same time, the city continues to push boundaries, welcoming bold new developments and experiences that elevate programs and ensure every event feels fresh, dynamic, and distinctly Vegas.
The city’s culinary scene is highlighted by a steady stream of high-profile openings and chef-driven concepts. Recent additions range from Gymkhana’s celebrated Indian cuisine at ARIA Resort & Casino to Carbone Riviera’s glamourous coastal Italian focus at Bellagio. COTE Vegas at The Venetian Resort brings MICHELIN-starred Korean steakhouse dining to a dramatic, group-friendly setting, complete with private skybox rooms. At Wynn Las Vegas, Pisces Bar & Seafare adds Mediterranean-inspired seafood overlooking the Lake of Dreams, and Bazaar Meat by José Andrés has returned in a dramatically expanded Palazzo location designed for large-scale dining and private events.
Entertainment and attractions continue to evolve just as quickly. Grand Prix Plaza has emerged as North America’s largest Formula 1
attraction, offering immersive, interactive experiences seemingly tailor-made for group outings and teambuilding. AREA15 has expanded its footprint with Zone 2: The Terminals, introducing new immersive concepts and attractions that appeal to a wide range of interests, with more on the way. While the Strip delivers the nonstop energy of professional sports, headline shows, and iconic nightlife, planners can also easily incorporate outdoor and family-friendly experiences. Red Rock Canyon, Mount Charleston, and Lake Mead offer scenic escapes and recreation options, all within easy reach. Attractions like Shark Reef Aquarium, Adventuredome, Cirque du Soleil productions, and AREA15 make it easy for attendees to extend a business trip into a memorable family getaway.
Las Vegas also boasts flexible accommodations and event space. The destination is home to approximately 150,000 hotel rooms and nearly 15 million square feet of meeting and convention space. From intimate executive programs to mega-conventions and citywide events, planners can choose from a deep bench of venues, including Las Vegas Convention Center, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, The Venetian Expo, Caesars FORUM, Wynn Las Vegas, Resorts World, Fontainebleau, and more—each offering purpose-built infrastructure, modern technology, and experienced event teams accustomed to executing at scale.
Major renovations and expansions continue throughout the destination. The Las Vegas Convention Center completed a $600 million renovation in late 2025, bringing total exhibit space to 2.9 million square feet and introducing upgraded halls, a climate-controlled connector, enhanced outdoor arrival spaces, and expanded, state-of-the-art meeting rooms. The Venetian Resort is undertaking a $1.5 billion, multi-phase renovation, including a complete redesign of all 4,000 suites and a major overhaul of the Venetian Expo, while MGM Grand recently refreshed nearly 4,000 rooms in its main tower. Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas has completed a top-to-bottom renovation of guest rooms, suites, and meeting space, and introduced new public venues. Boutique and luxury offerings are also evolving, including the rebranding of NoMad Las Vegas hotel as The Reserve at Park MGM and the ongoing transformation of The Cromwell as The Vanderpump Hotel.
