The Westin Los Angeles Airport has recently completed a $45 million renovation, focusing on embracing elements from nature to create a refreshed environment for guests. This renovation includes updates to guest rooms, the lobby, club lounge, and the all-new Westin Well Experience. The hotel’s transformation aligns with the multibillion-dollar modernization project at LAX Airport, as well as the development of the YouTube Theater and Sofi Stadium, both located just minutes from the property.
The renovation aims to redefine indoor spaces by blending nature with comfort, while enjoying curated guest rooms designed for tranquility and well-being. The property features biophilic design, incorporating water elements, native Southern California plants, and natural materials. Inspired by the locale’s original inhabitants, the El Segundo Blue Butterfly, the design includes organic shapes and patterns reminiscent of the nearby oceanside landscape.
The hotel’s proximity to the airport, along with easy access to downtown entertainment and the LA Convention Center, makes it an ideal destination for business meetings and social events. The hotel offers more than 13,000 square feet of ballroom space, high ceilings that let in natural light, and advanced tech theater space.
