ANAHEIM, Calif.—Visit Anaheim has secured 142 conventions, meetings, and events scheduled for 2026, bookings projected to generate nearly $1.74 billion in economic impact for Anaheim and Garden Grove, the organization recently announced.
The bookings include 76 meetings and 66 conventions expected to produce nearly 600,000 hotel room nights, providing a boost to hotels, restaurants, attractions, and other tourism-related businesses throughout the region. Several high-profile and milestone events are scheduled to return to Anaheim in 2026, including the 50th anniversary of the NAMM Show in the city, the 45th anniversary of Natural Products Expo West, and the return of BlizzCon, a major gaming convention.
“These bookings reflect the continued demand for Anaheim as a world-class meetings destination and the strength of our long-term partnerships with event organizers,” says Mike Waterman, president and CEO of Visit Anaheim. “The economic impact generated by these conventions and meetings supports thousands of jobs and drives investment across our hospitality and tourism ecosystem.”
In addition to visitor spending, the 2026 events are projected to generate $22.1 million in tourism occupancy tax revenue, which supports city services and community priorities.
“Our sales and marketing efforts remain focused on long-term growth and delivering measurable value to our communities,” says Ronnie Collins, chief sales officer for Visit Anaheim. “We look forward to welcoming thousands of attendees in 2026 and showcasing the experiences that make Anaheim and Garden Grove exceptional destinations for meetings and conventions.”
Anaheim and Garden Grove continue to attract a wide range of corporate meetings, association conferences, and industry events, supported by Anaheim Convention Center, the largest convention center on the West Coast, as well as an expanding mix of hotels, entertainment districts, and visitor attractions.
