Stateline, Nev.—Harveys Lake Tahoe has officially rebranded as Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, following the July 1 transition announced earlier this year by Caesars Entertainment. The rebrand marks the beginning of a $160 million renovation project that will continue in phases through mid-2026.
The 1.6-million-square-foot resort will remain operational during construction. Initial upgrades include a redesigned hotel lobby, remodeled guest rooms in the Remus Tower (formerly the Mountain Tower), and refreshed amenities in the Romulus Tower (previously the Tahoe Tower). Butler service will be introduced for select suites in both towers.
Renovations to the 88,000-square-foot casino floor are underway. Plans include new lighting, carpeting, furniture, and digital displays, as well as the addition of a High Limit Room and a World Series of Poker Room. Caesars says the updates are intended to modernize the gaming experience while maintaining continuous access for guests.
Dining and hospitality offerings are also being expanded. Cleo’s Coffee and Cocktails, a newly designed lobby venue, will operate as a café by day and lounge by night. Existing restaurants—Gordon Ramsay HELL’S KITCHEN and WOLF by Vanderpump—remain key components of the food and beverage lineup.
“This transformation honors the storied history of Harveys while introducing modern amenities and elevated experiences that will redefine luxury in Lake Tahoe,” said Karie Hall, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe. “We look forward to welcoming guests to a resort that blends the best of our past with an exciting vision for the future.”
Additional property improvements are planned across the street at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, which is connected to Caesars Republic via an underground walkway. Updates at Harrah’s include renovations to the Summit Suites and the recent launch of Brew Brothers, a craft beer-focused restaurant.
Marnell Companies is leading the design for the Caesars Republic project. The next phase of construction is scheduled to begin this fall, with work pausing during the peak winter season and full completion targeted for summer 2026.
This is the second hotel under the Caesars Republic brand, following the opening of Caesars Republic Scottsdale in 2023.
