Scottsdale, Ariz.—Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, Ariz., has completed an $18 million room renovation, marking the largest renovation since its opening in 1956. The redesign combines mid-century elements with modern style to reflect the hotel’s heritage while meeting the needs of today’s travelers.
“We look forward to ushering in this new chapter with the local community, our treasured guests, and future visitors,” says Ronen Aviram, the hotel’s vice president and general manager.
Designed by Mendil + Meyer Design Studio, the renovation incorporates sustainable elements, including materials from previous renovations, to minimize waste. The redesign also features a new color palette of soft pinks and blues inspired by Arizona sunsets complemented by cream walls with sleek, neutral accents. Contemporary touches include custom terrazzo countertops, floating tubs, and eco-conscious furniture, such as the “Sprung Chair” made from 81-percent recycled material.
The renovation includes new guest rooms, suites, and Cabana King Rooms with pool-facing patios. Upcoming changes later this year will include redesigned Executive Suites. The hotel’s transformation aims to offer a fresh perspective while staying true to its iconic mid-century roots and charm.
Hotel Valley Ho features indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including two ballrooms, meeting rooms, lawn space, and a 3,500-square-foot rooftop tower with a capacity of 175 guests for banquets and 250 for receptions.
