W Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio, has unveiled the newly transformed W Hollywood in partnership with Trinity Investments and funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management. This marks a significant step in W Hotels’ evolution, with the reimagined W Hollywood showcasing new design elements, programming, and service standards aimed at luxury travelers.
The 300,000-square-foot property, designed by Rockwell Group, is inspired by the history and landscape of Hollywood. The hotel’s design aims to create a retreat that reflects the essence of the city’s film and music legacy. Highlights include a triple-height Living Room featuring a conversation pit and celestial-themed installations. An adjacent courtyard, The Garden, provides a serene outdoor space.
W Hollywood also introduces two new rooftop bars, Sunrise and Sunset, offering expansive views of the Hollywood Hills and a vibrant atmosphere. The rooftop’s WET Deck includes cabanas and murals by artist James Peter Henry.
The hotel offers 319 redesigned guest rooms and suites, featuring custom design elements that blend residential comfort with luxury. Rooms include built-in wet bars and spacious living areas, with select suites offering outdoor spaces for events.
In addition to its guest accommodations, W Hollywood features 35,000 square feet of event space, including a flexible Great Room and several meeting rooms designed for creativity and collaboration. A newly relocated gym, FIT, aligns with modern travelers’ wellness priorities.
With these updates, W Hollywood aims to redefine luxury, combining design, culture, and service to meet the demands of today’s travelers.
