Colorado’s Hotel Clio appoints Marc Blackford as GM

Hotel Clio, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood, has appointed Marc Blackford as general manager. Blackford oversees the hotel’s daily operations, managing nearly 200 guest rooms, 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and Toro, a Pan-Latin restaurant by chef Richard Sandoval.

With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Blackford has held leadership positions at MGM Resorts International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and Marriott International. He previously served as director of general services at Wind Crest in Highlands Ranch, Colo., and spent eight years as director of operations at The Westin Downtown Denver.

A University of Nevada, Las Vegas graduate, Blackford has been a Denver resident for more than 20 years.
