
Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino (Nev.) has appointed William Stout as its new director of food and beverage (F&B). Stout, who began his career at the same property more than 20 years ago, will now oversee all aspects of the resort’s F&B operations.
Resort manager Andrew De Lapp expressed confidence in Stout’s ability to enhance the dining experience for guests. “William’s extensive experience working in the hospitality industry, paired with his passion for ensuring unforgettable dining experiences, makes him the ideal candidate for this position. We look forward to seeing his vision for the resort’s food & beverage opportunities come to life,” he says.
Stout’s career has included leadership roles at various prestigious hotels, including Hyatt Regency San Francisco and JW Marriott Nashville (Tenn.), where he contributed to the hotel’s recognition as “Opening Hotel of the Year.”
Originally from Hagerstown, Ind., Stout moved to Lake Tahoe after graduating from Indiana University with a degree in computer science. His initial role at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe ignited his passion for hospitality, leading to a career in the industry.
Stout expressed excitement about returning to Lake Tahoe and Hyatt Regency. “My goal is to further enhance the guest experience while providing support to my team to help them meet their goals and move forward with their career path. I am also excited to once again experience all that Tahoe has to offer, from mountain biking to skiing, as well as meeting all of the great people in the community,” he says.
Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, located on the shores of North Lake Tahoe, Nev., is known for its blend of modern alpine luxury and natural beauty. The resort features 422 guest rooms, a private beach, multiple dining options, and a range of amenities, including a casino and spa.
