PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz.—Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has announced plans for Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas, set to open in early 2026 in Paradise Valley, east of Phoenix. The project is the first branded IHG luxury and lifestyle property in the Paradise Valley/Scottsdale market.

The resort will be developed through a major reimagining of an existing 42-acre retreat, featuring views of Camelback and Mummy mountains. Kimpton Miralina will include more than 400 guest rooms, suites, and villas, and will offer 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.

Leanne Harwood, senior vice president and managing director of luxury, lifestyle & managed hotels at IHG, said the new resort reflects the company’s focus on growth in key U.S. markets. “Kimpton’s rich legacy and unique approach to luxury lifestyle are a natural fit for suburban Phoenix,” she said. “Through its contemporary design, breathtaking views, and exemplary culinary destinations, Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas will bring forth the best of what our luxury and lifestyle brands and dedicated segment leadership team have to offer.”

Designed to blend with the surrounding desert landscape, the resort will feature six swimming pools, a day spa, and a fitness center with access to nearby hiking trails. Guests will also have access to signature Kimpton amenities, including complimentary bikes, in-room yoga mats, Kimpton Kickstart morning coffee and tea service, and the evening Kimpton Social Hour.

The resort’s food and beverage program, developed in partnership with lifestyle hospitality group sbe, will include four dining venues, including a contemporary restaurant led by a notable chef.

Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas will be jointly owned by Partners Group and Trinity Investments and managed by Highgate, which oversees more than 400 hotels globally.

When completed, the property will serve as a new luxury destination for travelers and the local community, offering a modern interpretation of desert hospitality.
