LAS VEGAS—JW Marriott Las Vegas and Rampart Casino have announced a property-wide rebrand, officially uniting the resort and casino under a single identity, The Resort at Summerlin, effective January 1, 2026.
The rebranding coincides with a $75 million, multi-year renovation, which has been underway for more than 18 months and will continue through 2026. The project reflects a renewed focus on guest experience, wellness, and modern design, while acknowledging the property’s long-standing role in the Summerlin community. The renovation updates the resort’s design and guest experience while keeping its appeal to locals and visitors. It combines Mediterranean architecture with modern touches, open spaces, and natural light.
Initially opened in 1999, the property was conceived as a full resort rather than a stand-alone casino. With the completion of its most extensive renovation to date, the property is reverting to its original name, positioning itself as a fully integrated resort campus offering gaming, dining, spa and wellness services, meetings, and events.
Recent upgrades include renovated guest rooms, public spaces, and amenities. All 549 guest rooms have been refreshed, offering 560 square feet of space with updated furnishings, smart TVs, and desert-inspired design elements. Select rooms include walk-out or Juliette balconies, or feature walk-out terraces overlooking the resort’s gardens and water features.
Additional enhancements include a renovated conference center, a fitness center, Spa Aquae treatment areas, and a new Hydra Lounge relaxation space. The casino floor has been updated with new finishes, lighting, and High Limit Rooms.
New dining concepts will include restaurants by Fabio Viviani, Nom Wah, and Wineaux, which will anchor The Neighborhood Food Hall and also complement existing on-property dining venues.
The property has also partnered with Caesars Entertainment to open a Caesars Sportsbook in early 2026, featuring upgraded viewing areas, a 360-degree LED display, and self-service betting kiosks throughout the casino.
The renovation was led by FRANK Architecture and Interiors, with construction managed by Trident.
