Appellation to open luxury ‘culinary’ hotel in Silicon Valley’s Morgan Hill

Appellation, a culinary-first hotel brand co-founded by chef Charlie Palmer, CEO, and luxury hospitality expert Christopher Hunsberger, COO, has partnered with vintner Frank Léal of Léal Hospitality to introduce Hotel MOHI by Appellation. The hotel is set to open in fall 2025 in downtown Morgan Hill, in Silicon Valley, Calif.

William Stout named director of F&B at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino (Nev.) has appointed William Stout as its new director of food and beverage (F&B). Stout, who began his career at the same property more than 20 years ago, will now oversee all aspects of the resort’s F&B operations.

Gaylord Rockies Resort plans major expansion

The proposal includes adding a 47,000-square-foot indoor addition to its waterpark and adding 450 guest rooms, increasing the hotel’s capacity to 1,950 rooms.

Viewline Resort Snowmass names Gregg Fracassa as GM

Viewline Resort Snowmass, an Autograph Collection Hotel, located in Colorado’s Snowmass Village, has appointed Gregg Fracassa as its new general manager (GM). Fracassa will oversee the day-to-day operations of the 254-room mid-mountain resort.
