
Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe, Calif., has appointed Dania Duke as managing director, marking a leadership change at the brand’s first mountain destination lodging. Situated at the base of Tahoe’s Heavenly Mountain Resort, the all-suite resort aims to deliver a memorable guest experience in South Lake Tahoe.
Duke brings more than 30 years of hospitality experience to her new role, in which she will oversee resort operations, enhance guest satisfaction, and improve operational efficiencies. Her background includes leadership roles at Davidson Resorts, where she managed the Davenport Hotel Collection in Spokane, Wash., and oversaw properties in San Diego. Duke has also held key positions with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, managing multiple Four Diamond Resort properties and opening new hotels. Known for her expertise in luxury resort operations and innovative management systems, Duke is well-positioned to drive service results and revenue growth at Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe.
Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe, featuring 399 suites, is the only all-suite resort hotel in the Lake Tahoe basin. The resort is within walking distance of some of the area’s top attractions, including Heavenly Mountain Gondola, the newly completed Tahoe Blue Event Center, and the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tahoe. In addition, the property features more than 14,000 square feet of flexible indoor-outdoor space for hosting meetings and events.
