Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort names Andrew De Lapp as resort manager

The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino in Nevada has announced the promotion of Andrew De Lapp to the position of resort manager. De Lapp, previously director of operations, will now oversee all aspects of the resort’s functions, including front office, guest services, dining, and spa operations.

De Lapp brings more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new role. His career has taken him across the United States, including positions at Park Hyatt New York and Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort & Spa in Hawaii. He joined Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe team in 2019 and has been a part of the resort’s operations for the past five years.

“In this new role, it is my goal to continue the legacy of this amazing resort by providing our guests with incredible experiences, give our colleagues opportunities to grow in their careers, and be a strong partner within our local community,” De Lapp says. “After having lived in the Lake Tahoe area for more than five years now, I look forward to continuing to be a part of this incredible community my family and I call home.”

Originally from Australia, De Lapp pursued a degree in Hotel Management at International College of Management in Sydney. He began his career in the United States began with an internship at Nine Zero Hotel in Boston, followed by roles in Chicago and New York City.
