A small town tucked in the Rocky Mountains at the highest point of the Historic Santa Fe Trail, Raton is a beautiful destination with year-round performing arts, delicious cuisine, and plenty of outdoor recreation.
The Raton Convention Center, with meeting rooms, a dining room, and a kitchen, can accommodate up to 60 people. The NRA Meeting Center offers more than 33,000 acres, executive meeting rooms, conference areas, food service, and cafeterias; the meeting rooms can accommodate up to 500 people.
Vermejo, a Ted Turner Reserve is a premier retreat site with more than 550,000 acres of majestic landscapes, modern amenities, onsite dining, and several lodging options, from mountain cabins to cottages to a turn-of-the-century mansion. It can accommodate groups of up to 100 for meetings or retreats.
Raton’s Historic Shuler Theater hosts a year-round performing arts season. The Old Pass Gallery features works by local artists, and Raton Museum preserves the city’s history.
Raton offers more than 20 local eateries, serving authentic cuisine and culinary experiences.
