DENVER—Visit Denver has enhanced its Mile High 5 Incentive program for 2027 meetings, offering meeting planners exclusive hotel concessions and airfare reimbursement for an approved site visit.

Launched in 2024, the program is available to meeting planners nationwide and is designed to help them book new meetings in Denver while maximizing value and creating memorable events. Planners organizing groups requiring 100 to 950 rooms at peak can select five hotel concessions from a list of nine benefits when booking a qualified meeting. The program also provides up to $500 in airfare reimbursement for an approved site visit, giving planners an opportunity to experience Denver firsthand and explore its meeting facilities, hotels, and attractions.

Participating hotels offer the following concessions, from which planners may select five for inclusion in the final hotel contract:

– A 5% rebate on eligible master account charges.
– A 15% discount on eligible in-house audiovisual equipment rentals.
– Up to 20% off the group room rate.
– Complimentary meeting room rental with an agreed-upon F&B minimum.
– Complimentary standard Wi-Fi in designated meeting spaces.
– One complimentary room night for every 30 paid room nights actualized.
– One VIP room upgrade and welcome amenity for every 30 rooms actualized at peak.
– Double eligible planner loyalty points, subject to the hotel brand’s program requirements.
– One complimentary standard room night for an approved site inspection, subject to availability.

Denver has more than 13,000 hotel rooms in its downtown area and more than 55,000 across the metropolitan area. The city also features a compact, walkable downtown, approximately 300 days of sunshine annually, more than 30 MICHELIN-rated restaurants, and access to outdoor recreation in the nearby Rocky Mountains.

Denver International Airport (DEN) provides nonstop service to more than 220 domestic and international destinations, offering attendees convenient access from across the country and around the world.

The program’s lead eligibility period runs Oct. 12, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Visit Denver encourages planners to submit requests for proposals for new 2027 meetings to its team. Terms and conditions apply.

Visit Denver is the city’s destination sales and marketing organization, providing complimentary support to meeting professionals throughout the planning process. The Mile High 5 Incentive program is part of the organization’s efforts to help planners manage costs and create successful events.
