Placemakr, a flexible-use hospitality and multifamily operator, has launched its newest pop-up location in Reno, Nev. This marks the company’s first expansion into the state. The property, managed in partnership with Pacific Development & Bridge Investment Group and Greystar, is now open for bookings.
Placemakr Reno offers 66 apartment-style hotel suites, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom options. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, meeting and co-working spaces, a clubhouse, a heated pool and spa with Baja Lounge, a rooftop lounge, outdoor courtyards, a pet lounge, a parking garage, a package room, and a pet wash station.
Located near Greater Nevada Field on the north bank of the Truckee River, the property provides easy access to downtown Reno’s nightlife and attractions and the nearby Amtrak station. It also serves as a base for visitors heading to Lake Tahoe, which is less than an hour away.
Jason Fudin, CEO and co-founder of Placemakr, noted that Reno’s growing tourism and business investment made it a logical choice for expansion. Partner Sean Murphy of Pacific Development said the location and demand drivers support the new hotel’s potential success.
In 2025 alone, Placemakr has opened five new properties in Salt Lake City, Santa Clara, San Antonio, and Pittsburgh. More openings are expected later in the year.
