Located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and set against scenic desert backdrops, Henderson combines modern infrastructure with a resort-style atmosphere. “Its tranquil, resort-style atmosphere provides a peaceful escape from the Strip while still offering exceptional venues for meetings and events,” says Ed Kirby, tourism sales representative for the City of Henderson. “When people ask, ‘Why stay in Henderson when you can stay on the Las Vegas Strip?’ the answer is simple: Henderson allows you to keep your group together, offering a more intimate, focused environment for networking. We don’t have high resort fees, and parking is free, which makes Henderson attractive for groups of 50 to 400 attendees. Because we are so close, they can still visit the Strip since it is only minutes away.”
Outdoor recreation plays a central role in Henderson, with more than 300 miles of hiking and biking trails, nearby kayaking and paddleboarding, and 10 golf courses offering built-in options for teambuilding and relaxation. Lake Las Vegas is a standout for group experiences, from dragon boat racing to waterside receptions, while such championship golf courses as Reflection Bay, DragonRidge Country Club, and Revere Golf Club elevate corporate outings. For something more playful or high-energy, venues like Chicken N Pickle, Speed Vegas, and Dig This Las Vegas provide exciting offsite options designed to spark friendly competition.
Henderson’s meetings infrastructure is anchored by a portfolio of resorts and event venues. The M Resort Spa Casino is expanding to 765 guest rooms and more than 100,000 square feet of convention space. Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa and Casino offers 495 rooms and 69,000 square feet of meeting space as it undergoes a $200 million renovation. Along Lake Las Vegas, both The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa and Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa are undergoing large-scale upgrades, together delivering more than 800 rooms and nearly 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. Sunset Station adds another option, with 457 rooms, refreshed amenities, and flexible meeting space.
Altogether, Henderson offers slightly more than 4,500 hotel rooms, giving planners the flexibility to design programs that fit their individual group’s size, style, and budget. The mix of full-service resorts, lakeside retreats, and locally owned properties makes it easy to create a seamless experience blending work and leisure.
