Red Cliffs Lodge Zion, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott has opened following a complete renovation, showcasing a design reflecting the adventurous spirit and natural beauty of Zion National Park, Utah.
The newly rebranded hotel is located less than a mile from the park’s entrance in the heart of Springdale, Utah, serving as a gateway to Zion and a base for exploring the town’s activities, local culture, shopping, and dining. It offers 132 guest rooms, a signature restaurant, Scout Bar & Grill, meeting space, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool with a hot tub.
Managed by Azul Hospitality Group, Red Cliffs Lodge Zion joins Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio, a collection of independent hotels. The property has been designed to embrace Zion’s outdoorsy ethos, with interiors inspired by the park’s dramatic landscapes.
Atwater Inc. Studio, the design firm behind the renovation, has created spaces that channel Zion’s natural beauty. The hotel’s palette incorporates neutral tones accented with bold colors representing the deep reds of Zion’s rock canyons, the sapphire blue of the sky, and the emerald hues of its grasslands. The lobby, featuring a large fireplace and custom artwork, invites guests to unwind and share stories from their day’s adventures, evoking the spirit of a campfire gathering.
Red Cliffs Lodge Zion’s new restaurant, Scout Bar & Grill, captures the spirit of Zion’s rugged outdoors. The open-flame grill serves global comfort food, with highlights including fried chicken and smoked meats. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, offering dine-in and take-out options.
Guest rooms have modern amenities, such as mini-fridges, coffee makers, flat-screen TVs, in-room safes, and premium bathroom products. The rooms range from standard king and queen to spacious king suites with private patios. Walking stick-inspired mirrors, petrified stone features, and other thoughtful design elements create a serene and nature-inspired atmosphere.
With more than 1,000 square feet of meeting space, Red Cliffs Lodge Zion is ideal for intimate events, corporate retreats, and small weddings. Event spaces include a meeting room accommodating up to 54 guests and a boardroom for up to eight people. Outdoor spaces, including fire pits and lounge areas, provide stunning views of the surrounding cliffs and mountains.
