DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City Downtown has announced the completion of an extensive renovation project, including updates to the hotel’s central atrium, lobby, guest rooms, dining options, fitness center, and indoor pool. The hotel, located in downtown Salt Lake City, is managed by HRI Hospitality, with the renovation design led by Dallas-based Studio 11 Design.
The renovation creates a cohesive aesthetic reflecting the local environment, incorporating mixed metals, natural colors, and textures inspired by the city’s art scene and natural landscapes. The 241 all-suite rooms now feature geometric carpeting, custom artwork, updated furniture, and upgraded kitchen and bathroom amenities. Public spaces, including the central atrium, have been redesigned to foster a social atmosphere, with new lighting, seating, and décor elements.
The hotel’s food and beverage offerings have also been refreshed. Red Beryl Kitchen, the signature restaurant, now serves a mix of American and Southwest cuisine, while the adjacent Red Beryl Bar features a new 10-tap beer tower and a redesigned seating area. DoubleShot grab-and-go coffee market has been updated with new finishes and an expanded menu.
Additionally, new Wi-Suite thermostats in guest rooms allow for real-time energy management, and all lighting has been replaced with energy-efficient LED fixtures. The hotel’s elevators have also been modernized for improved energy efficiency.
