SALT LAKE CITY—The Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown at City Creek has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation, marking the final stage of a multi-phase investment aimed at modernizing the 510-room hotel while maintaining its role as a key hospitality venue in the city’s downtown core.
Upgrades include redesigned guest rooms, refreshed meeting and event spaces, and a new look for the main lobby, restaurant, and bar. The renovation adds to the property’s nearly 25,000 square feet of meeting space, which has been updated with new technology and improved layout for conferences, banquets, and social events.
Salt Stone, the hotel’s restaurant, now features a revised menu highlighting local ingredients, while Destinations Lounge offers a contemporary cocktail setting.
“With this renovation, we’re proud to offer guests the best of both worlds—the heritage and history of Salt Lake City’s flagship downtown hotel, combined with the comfort and style of a newly refreshed property,” said Andreo Girardi, general manager. “Our unmatched location, steps from Temple Square, the Salt Palace Convention Center, and world-class shopping at City Creek, paired with a contemporary new look, ensures we can continue to welcome business, leisure, and group travelers for decades to come.”
