LAS VEGAS—The MICHELIN Guide has announced a new Southwest edition for 2026, covering Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah, marking the guide’s return to Las Vegas after more than a decade.
The last MICHELIN Guide focused on Las Vegas was published in 2009, when 17 local restaurants received MICHELIN Stars. The new regional guide reflects a shift toward a broader geographic approach, highlighting dining across multiple states rather than a single city. The Southwest edition will assess restaurants across a range of cuisines and dining formats, reflecting the region’s evolving culinary scene.
“The announcement of the new Southwest MICHELIN Guide is an exciting moment for our city,” said Steve Hill, president and CEO of Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). “Our culinary landscape has transformed dramatically since we last welcomed the organization in 2009, and this serves as a major opportunity to showcase our growth, both on and off the Strip. We are certain the inspectors will uncover the creativity, ambition, and world-class talent that define Las Vegas today.”
According to MICHELIN, anonymous inspectors are already visiting restaurants across the four states, making reservations and evaluating establishments for potential inclusion. The full selection of restaurants will be unveiled at the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Southwest Ceremony, which will be announced at a later date next year.
