KEYSTONE, Colo.—Kindred Resort has announced its executive leadership team ahead of its opening on December 12, 2025.
Daniel Dohner has been appointed general manager. Dohner has more than 25 years of hospitality experience at Colorado mountain destinations, including Snowbird, Deer Valley, Snowmass/Aspen, and several Vail Resorts properties. He previously served as director of hospitality development for Vail Resorts, where he contributed to RockResort brand standards and early planning for the Kindred project. Most recently, he led operations at The Ranahan in Breckenridge and the Hilton Garden Inn Union Station in Denver with Sage Hospitality Group.
At Kindred Resort, Dohner will oversee pre-opening efforts and day-to-day operations. “We’re not just building a resort, we’re creating an elevated experience designed for connection, comfort, and unforgettable moments,” Dohner said. “With one of the most talented teams in the industry and an unbeatable location, we’re redefining what’s possible in Keystone and setting a new standard for alpine hospitality.”
Joining the leadership team is Raya Roll, director of sales and marketing. A 2024 Smart Women in Meetings Industry Leader award recipient, Roll will oversee group and leisure sales, brand development, and guest engagement. She has more than 10 years of experience with luxury hospitality brands.
Scott Donovan has been named reservations and leisure sales manager. Donovan will manage individual travel bookings and guest services, drawing on his background in luxury resort operations.
Kindred Resort will open in River Run Village as part of the RockResorts portfolio. The property will be Keystone’s first slopeside luxury hotel, with direct access to the River Run Gondola.
