Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa, in Indian Wells, Calif., will rebrand as a Grand Hyatt, according to Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Trinity Investments. The resort will become the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas in September 2024, coinciding with the completion of a $64 million property-wide renovation.

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas will feature redesigned guest rooms and luxury villas, an expanded lobby experience, elevated accommodations, refreshed meeting and event spaces, and two new dining concepts. Additionally, the resort’s pool complex will be reimagined, offering extended cabana options.

The resort’s refreshed design, overseen by the Southern California firm IndiDesign, draws inspiration from the serenity of the surrounding landscape, with mid-century modern design elements and a neutral color palette. Accommodations will include 531 refreshed guest rooms and suites, along with 43 new one- and two-bedroom private villas featuring exclusive amenities, such as private backyards with hot tubs or plunge pools.

In its dining space, the property will introduce two new restaurant concepts—Tía Carmen and Carmocha—in collaboration with acclaimed chef Angelo Sosa. The resort’s pool experience will also undergo enhancements, including expanded cabanas and new dining options.

With 88,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space, Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas will continue to be a premier destination for events in Palm Springs, Calif. The resort will also offer new programming and enhancements to its spa facilities.

Situated just a short drive from Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), the resort provides easy access to the best shopping, culture, and entertainment offerings in the Coachella Valley area.
