Hyatt appoints Dena Roady as area VP and GM of Manchester Grand San Diego

The Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego has announced the appointment of Dena Roady as its new area vice president and general manager. Originally from Colusa, Calif., Roady brings 28 years of experience with Hyatt, having served most recently as area vice president and general manager at Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort and Spa in Hawaii.

In her previous roles, Roady has been instrumental in driving revenue growth, implementing property improvements, and overseeing strategic initiatives. Her career includes senior leadership positions at Hyatt properties across the United States, including Hyatt Regency Clearwater Resort and Spa and also Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa. She has also held corporate roles, contributing to the launch of new properties and operational projects.

At Manchester Grand Hyatt, Roady will oversee the hotel’s strategy and performance while also supporting other Hyatt properties in the San Diego area. Situated on San Diego Bay, the hotel is known for its prime location near San Diego Convention Center and popular Gaslamp Quarter, offering guests a resort-like experience in the heart of downtown.
