Hilton’s La Jolla Hotel completes multimillion-dollar renovation, debuts ‘Sea & Sky’ dining

Hotel La Jolla, Curio Collection by Hilton, situated in the coastal community of La Jolla Shores, Calif., has recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation project. The renovation encompasses 110 guest rooms and suites, along with 1,600 square feet of events spaces.

Hospitality design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) completed the renovation. Key enhancements include a new penthouse-level restaurant concept, Sea & Sky, on the 11th floor, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sea & Sky features expansive ocean views—the focal point of the renovation—and offers a sea-to-table dining experience, incorporating locally sourced seafood and regional ingredients by executive chef Anthony Wells. The restaurant’s innovative menu also features handcrafted cocktails.

Revamped guest rooms feature upgraded amenities, such as high-end furnishings, work desks, and modern bathrooms. The new 850-square-foot King Ocean View Suites now also have separate living areas and wet bars. The meetings and events space has been reimagined, offering floor-to-ceiling views of the Pacific Ocean and updated amenities for corporate events.
