The Hilton Garden Inn Dana Point in Southern California has completed a major renovation, transforming the former Doubletree Suites property with a comprehensive interior and exterior upgrade. Managed by HRI Hospitality, the revamped hotel features all-new guest rooms, redesigned public spaces, and enhanced F&B offerings. Studio 11 Design provided design and technical support for the project.
“We are thrilled to welcome both locals and visitors to the newly refreshed Hilton Garden Inn Dana Point,” says general manager Daniel Ader. “This transformation brings a fresh energy to the entire property, enhancing the overall guest experience with thoughtfully reimagined spaces that combine comfort, style, and a unique coastal charm.”
The renovation emphasizes a coastal theme, with interiors inspired by beachside colors and textures. Guest rooms feature soft blues, sandy neutrals, and modern amenities, including upgraded vanities and step-in showers. Public areas were reimagined to capture the spirit of the ocean, with a light-filled atrium lobby and custom surfboards by designer R’Sleigh.
The property also introduced an updated F&B program. The new Doheny Surf restaurant focuses on local ingredients, including fish tacos and black bean burgers. A lobby bar and the fourth-floor Longboard Rooftop Lounge offer additional dining options.
Other improvements include expanded meeting spaces, a fitness center with Peloton bikes, and refreshed outdoor areas. Exterior updates encompass a new color scheme, landscaping, and a circular driveway for streamlined guest arrival.
Located at 34402 Pacific Coast Highway, Hilton Garden Inn Dana Point invites guests to experience its revitalized ambiance.
