Planning professionals looking for the Caesars-brand hospitality and amenities without the casino element usually associated with its properties now have a non-gaming option in Scottsdale, Ariz. The new Caesars Republic Scottsdale, scheduled to open this month, is the first non-gaming hotel from Caesars Entertainment in the United States. The 11-story “lifestyle-hotel experience” property combines contemporary design and elegance, vibrant dining and nightlife, and luxury amenities against Scottsdale’s scenic desert landscape, along with approximately 20,000 square feet of meeting-and-event space.

Ryan Kirby, director of sales and marketing for Caesars Republic Scottsdale, says Caesars Entertainment chose Scottsdale as the location for its first non-gaming property based on several factors. “Scottsdale continues to be one of the top markets for group travel within the United States. Located in Scottsdale’s Fashion Square District and just a short, 15-minute drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Caesars Republic Scottsdale is one of the most walkable hotels in the city to premier shopping and restaurants. The hotel’s location in the Scottsdale community is unparalleled.”

As Caesars Entertainment’s first non-gaming establishment in the country, Caesars Republic Scottsdale appeals to meeting professionals and guests alike who have come to regard the Caesars brand for its accommodations, amenities, and services alone. “Planners will love the boutique nature of the hotel, its elevated amenities, and its location in the center of Old Town Scottsdale,” Kirby says.

The hotel features 265 guest rooms, including queen and king options; five penthouse suites ranging from 1,186 to 2,377 square feet, each with a full kitchen, entertainment space, and an outdoor terrace; and a bridal suite. The fitness center features Peloton bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, and free weights for guests who want to work out. Guests also can enjoy the relaxation of two separate pools, at Cleopatra’s Pool & Bar on the first floor, near the meeting and event space; and at SEVEN restaurant, bar, and rooftop pool, overlooking Camelback Mountain. Poolside activities include yoga in the morning, champagne hour just before lunch, and weekend brunch. In addition, Caesars Republic Scottsdale includes two signature restaurants by chef, author, and TV personality Giada De Laurentiis. Luna by Giada features flavors combining De Laurentiis’ rich Roman heritage with vibrant California influences and a “world-class” guest experience in a “sophisticated, high-energy environment.” Pronto by Giada offers breakfast and lunch, sourced from fresh ingredients and prepared fast. Menu options include house-made pastries, specialty coffee, paninis, salads, antipasti, meat-and-cheese platters, and gelato.
