The Caesars Entertainment National Meetings and Events team has expanded its focus on wellness programming by releasing a new wellness guide for event planners.
The guide provides data on the benefits of integrating wellness into events, a FAQ sheet, and a sample agenda featuring wellness activations designed to inspire planners.
The team reports that wellness-focused programming can support engagement and satisfaction. Key findings in the wellness guide include:
- Organizers who integrate wellness programs report up to a 25-percent increase in participant satisfaction and engagement.
- Conferences adopting wellness practices see stronger networking, higher Net Promoter Scores (NPS), and improved brand perception.
- Recommendations are provided on the length of wellness activations, cost-effective implementation, and options for sponsorship.
The guide outlines a sample agenda: Day One – Inspire and Energize, and Day Two – Connect and Restore.
Caesars Entertainment has incorporated wellness into its operations for several years, including a full-scale wellness center in Las Vegas, with access to doctors, nutritionists, a gym, and personal trainers. Building on this, the team developed a wellness menu featuring food and immersive experiences, such as sound baths, yoga, breathwork, tea ceremonies, and wellness-focused keynote speakers.
In 2024, Caesars launched the Global Wellness Forum in Las Vegas, where planners participated in such activities as forest bathing at Mt. Charleston and rafting on the Colorado River, followed by education sessions. In 2025, the team expanded the program through a six-city road show, with stops in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.
“We introduced our wellness menus in October 2023, hosted our inaugural Wellness Forum in June 2024, and took our message on the road with the Wellness Roadshow in 2025,” said Kelly Gleeson Smith, senior vice president of sales for Caesars Entertainment National Meetings & Events. “With wellness now a $6 billion—and rapidly growing—industry, we’re proud to be a thought leader in this initiative and a resource to all meeting planners.”
Reina Herschdorfer, director of marketing for Caesars Entertainment National Meetings & Events, added, “We’re incredibly proud to be at the forefront of the wellness movement, ensuring that we meet the needs of all, including Gen Z and Millennials. As a marketer and planner myself, I truly believe that incorporating wellness experiences into our events makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives, makes every event more impactful, and provides a stronger ROE.”
