ADERO Scottsdale Resort fills key management roles

Scottsdale, Ariz.—ADERO Scottsdale Resort, Autograph Collection has added three new managers to its leadership team.

Alex Shelton has been appointed director of sales, taking responsibility for sales operations and strategies across the meetings, events, corporate, and leisure segments. Shelton has more than 20 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing, most recently serving as executive director of sales and marketing at Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa. His career includes roles with Marriott, Hilton, and IHG properties and work with destination marketing organizations in the United States and abroad.

Kenneth Miller has joined as revenue strategy manager. He previously worked in revenue management at luxury destination resorts in the Florida Keys. In his new role, Miller will oversee pricing, forecasting, and inventory strategies.

Rachel Theron has been named marketing manager. She comes to ADERO from Marc & Rose Hospitality, where she handled marketing for hotels in California and Arizona. She has more than decade of experience developing campaigns for luxury and lifestyle brands.

Adam Stanchina, general manager of the resort, said the appointments reflect the resort’s focus on growing group and leisure travel while enhancing guest experiences. “Alex’s experience in propelling revenue growth and building high-performance sales teams makes him an invaluable addition to our leadership. Along with Kenneth and Rachel’s savvy, energy, and fresh perspectives, this team brings the specialized skills and proven results to drive group and leisure travel, enhance our guest journey, and further solidify our position as a premier destination,” he said.
