On March 10, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles hosted its third-annual Oscars Night at the Museum. More than 1,200 guests were treated to an event that marked the culmination of Oscars Season at the Museum, a series of programs running from January 28 to March 31. Throughout this period, visitors were immersed in the world of cinema with Oscar-winning film screenings, family workshops, in-gallery tours, and exclusive store merchandise. The Oscars Experience in the East West Bank Gallery even offered guests the chance to accept their own awards in a setting reminiscent of Hollywood’s awards ceremony.

Attendees also explored the museum’s 50,000 square feet of galleries. The live broadcast of the 96th Academy Awards was streamed in the museum’s state-of-the-art David Geffen Theater and Ted Mann Theater. Hors d’oeuvres and small bites by Wolfgang Puck Catering were served, along with wines from Clarendelle & Domaine Clarence Dillon, the official wine partner of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Shake Shack burgers and fries were also served.

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the first large-scale museum of its kind in the country, opened in 2021. Located at the historic May Company Building on Wilshire Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue, it is part of Museum Row on the Miracle Mile. Constructed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), the museum houses more than 13 million objects showcasing the history, science, and cultural impact of the film industry. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano, the museum’s campus includes the restored Saban Building, a spherical addition, and public spaces that are open to the public.
