Roswell-NM.gov; @RoswellNMGov—Roswell has become synonymous with UFOs. The mid-size town continues to draw true believers who make the pilgrimage to visit the International UFO Museum and Research Center but stay for the hospitable residents and additional attractions.
The city boasts several outdoor recreation areas, a half-dozen other museums, a zoo, Roswell UFO Space Walk & Gallery, a planetarium, and more attractions.
Roswell Convention and Civic Center (currently closed due to recent flooding) includes a 15,874-square-foot exhibit hall with a capacity of 1,800 guests theater style or 720 banquet style. Additional meeting and conference rooms can accommodate groups of various sizes.
The Hi-Q Venue is filled with character and originality with a preserved history dating to the 1800s. The facility can host up to 300 guests seated at tables. Centrally located in downtown Roswell, the venue has a courtyard with a custom fire pit and can accommodate a variety of events.
Roswell Museum is available for event rentals, including receptions, meetings, and other events. This includes its Bassett Auditorium, Robert H. Goddard Planetarium, and the courtyard.
