VisitHenderson.com—Henderson offers an exceptional meeting and event destination with its perfect blend of vibrant desert landscapes, modern amenities, and proximity to the Las Vegas Strip. “Its tranquil, resort-style atmosphere provides a peaceful escape from the Strip while still offering exceptional venues for meetings and events,” says Ed Kirby, national sales executive for Visit Henderson. “When people ask, ‘Why stay in Henderson when you can stay on the Las Vegas Strip?’ the answer is simple: Henderson allows you to keep your group together, offering a more intimate, focused environment for networking. We don’t have high resort fees, and parking is free, which makes Henderson attractive for groups of 50-400 attendees. Because we are so close, they can still visit the Strip since we are minutes away.”
What truly sets Henderson apart, Kirby adds, is its unique combination of outdoor recreation and charming downtown. The area boasts 180 miles of hiking, biking, kayaking, and paddleboarding; 10 golf courses, and local mom-and-pop restaurants and bars dotting its downtown.
For groups seeking teambuilding opportunities, Lake Las Vegas offers a wide range of water activities, including dragon boat racing, and world-class golf courses, including Reflection Bay Golf Course, DragonRidge Country Club, and Revere Golf Club. Additionally, Speed Vegas and Dig It provide unique and thrilling experiences while encouraging collaboration, Kirby notes.
Henderson offers an impressive selection of top-tier meeting spaces, combining luxury accommodations with versatile event venues. Green Valley Ranch provides 495 elegant rooms and 69,000 square feet of meeting space. M Resort Spa Casino boasts 92,000 square feet of meeting space. The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa features 493 rooms and 109,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa offers 349 rooms and 100,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor space. Sunset Station rounds out the options, with 457 rooms and 13,000 square feet of meeting space.
Henderson’s hotel landscape is undergoing exciting renovations and expansions. M Resort Spa Casino is undergoing a $206 million expansion, set to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025, Kirby shares. This project will add a second resort tower with 384 additional rooms, bringing the total to 774 rooms and suites, along with expanded meeting spaces, updated amenities, and new local partnerships yet to be announced. Both The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa and Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa are preparing for renovations in 2025, further enhancing their offerings. Additionally, the newly opened Attwell Suites in downtown Henderson on Water Street features 90 rooms and a wine bar, Wine on Water Cocktail Lounge.
