New for 2025, the 154-room Holiday Inn Express Flagstaff has completed an entire property remodel and added a new small meeting room. The 183-room Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Flagstaff, with 6,500 square feet of event space, is completing a soft remodel of guest rooms and meeting space this year. Situated on historic Route 66, the retro-style High Country Motor Lodge, which completed a $13 million renovation in 2022, has a newly refreshed pool area. The 123-room lodge has newly refreshed Cosmic Cottages and 4,500 square feet of event space inside and 5,400 square feet outside.
Flagstaff offers much “to inspire your team,” Young says. “We’re the world’s first International Dark Sky community and home to Lowell Observatory, where groups can view the stars through a telescope or in an outdoor planetarium.” Historic downtown Flagstaff features the 1897-era 11-room Weatherford Hotel, along with restaurants, shops, galleries, and nightlife for groups to explore.
Flagstaff’s IACC-certified High Country Conference Center at Northern Arizona University has 29,700 square feet of event space, including a 1,000-person-capacity ballroom. It is connected via skybridge to a 164-room Drury Inn & Suites. The 247-room Little America Hotel, set on 500 private wooded acres, has 13,770 square feet of event space, including a ballroom, meeting rooms, and a grand lawn.
Attractions in and around Flagstaff include the Coconino National Forest, San Francisco Peaks, Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, Wupatki National Monument, Walnut Canyon National Monument, Oak Creek Canyon, and the Grand Canyon, just 80 miles away. nightlife options for special events.
