DENVER—Oak View Group (OVG) has earned certification from Great Place To Work®, based on employee feedback gathered across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Mexico.
The certification is based entirely on employees’ responses to the Global Employee Sentiment Survey. This year, 72 percent of OVG employees said it is a great place to work—15 percentage points higher than the average U.S. company.
OVG, based in Denver, develops and manages venues, hospitality services, and related operations worldwide. Nearly 2,500 full- and part-time employees participated in the survey.
“We see this as a milestone for OVG,” said Tim Leiweke, chairman and CEO. “It reflects how our employees support one another and the communities where we operate.”
Employees responded most positively to questions about pride, with 84 percent reporting pride in their contributions. More than 80 percent said they are proud to tell others they work at OVG.
Common themes from employee comments included feeling supported by leadership, contributing to environmentally responsible practices, and creating positive guest experiences. Respondents also noted the company’s efforts to reflect community diversity and support innovation.
